A child is weeping

Weeping for a Daddy who never will return -
A Daddy she hardly knew or remembers but nevertheless her
Daddy.
Just one more life
Some little time ago her Mummy received the dread news that
be had been killed in action in Italy.
sacrificed upon the altar of big business.
Tomorrow it may be your child who weeps!
And you yourself are you not the child of a mother who
is waiting anxiously and patiently for your return?
You may die at any moment! - Why?
Your death will do no good, and your loved ones will be
subjected to almost unbearable grief!
You know through experience what help they can expect in
the way of pensions ar relie in the event of your death.
They can expert little. and invariably grudgingly given and
accompanied by endless Red tape.
And do you think that by your death and the death
of thousands of your comrades humanity will benefit?
Of course not!
Would'nt it be better to live and take care personally of
those you love and who love you?
It may be a Mother, a Sweetheart, a Wife on child, but some-
where someone is waiting and worrying about you.
Do'nt disappoint them. take care of yourself and
o home safe after the war!
